It was a no-brainer to use Monica again to sell our Chicago home and buy a home in the suburbs. She was a god-send back then, and this time around we needed to sell our house and help us buy our new place.We were immediately impressed when she came by and had already prepared a folder of neighborhood comparables, schools, property values, moving trends, etc. We walked thru our house and she pointed out all our upgrades, as well as a few small fixes needed, things that buyers look for. We sat and discussed what her next steps were and how to optimally stage the place for best presentation. All her suggestions obviously paid off because she sold our house in 7 days of its first showing.
Next, we now needed to find our new place asap (we didn't expect such an immediate offer! and there was more than one). I'm the worst kind of client, I don't know what I want until I see it. My hubby, on the other hand, had a laundry list of "wants". And we weren't that sure of which northern burb to look at.
Monica had the patience of a saint, the best blend of professionalism & humor to go house hunting. Every weekend we dragged her out to see a multitude of listings, too many houses to admit to seeing (more houses that should be allowed. I'm not embellishing, we saw way too many houses), and in every showing, Monica was energetic and optimistic. Only reminding us not to settle or feel pressured.
Then came that glorious day when we walked into yet-another showing, we stopped and without us saying a word, Monica could tell that we finally (finally) found our dream home.
But the fun didn't end there, Monica was always available to us for all our inane questions when it came to legal and financial paperwork that we didn't understand. When signing mortgage papers we called her and handed the phone over to the bank associate to answer some of the paperwork questions. It was bizarre, but we trusted Monica more than that bank employee.
Lastly, we had our unofficial house warming party, and Monica was there. I don't know who looked happier. Us beaming in our new home, or her knowing she got us there.

I knew the minute I asked her to handle the sale of my condominium that I didn’t have to worry about anything. I had worked with another agent working on the sale before I spoke to Monica. He told me everything that I wanted to hear, not what was real. After months of waiting for him to live up to his promises I started to look for someone else to represent, she was able to sell the property for a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. I was always kept informed, which was terrific. I never had to wonder what was happening or get angry because a phone call would take weeks to be returned.
